Shou's father Norio finds his son in a rather meaningless existence in Tokyo dominated by alcohol and porn videos. Having left home two years earlier to pursue life as a musician, Shou has left his band and his girlfriend has left him. His father asks a favor, that Shou clean out the apartment of his aunt Matsuko, who he says led a meaningless life until her murder at the age of 53. The apartment is filled with garbage bags and is even more unkempt than his apartment has become, and he becomes intrigued with his aunt as details of her life are supplied by a tattooed neighbor and others. Her feelings of neglect by her father Tsunehiro, who favored her chronically ill younger sister, Kumi, translated into becoming a dutiful junior high school teacher devoted to her students until being forced to resign after being blamed for the theft of some money by one of them. Leaving her family due to the disgrace, she had a series of affairs with lovers who physically abused her.

Hiroto Miyama/Jun Matsumoto is a poor lawyer who takes on criminal cases, but unable to make money. He pursues the truth for the 0.1% out of Japan's 99.9% conviction rate. One day, Hiroto is scouted by Haruhiko Madarame/Ittoku Kishibe. Madarame is the head of Madarame Law Firm which is one of the biggest law firms among the 4 big law firms. Miyama begins to work with Atsuhiro Sada/Teruyuki Kagawa. Sada is a lawyer specializing in civil cases and makes lots of money for the law firm. He doesn't have any interest in criminal cases which can not make money.

Kaiji ~The Ultimate Gambler *Kenichi Matsuyama EN Sub

Kaiji Itou is a bum who steals car emblems and slashes tires on what seems to be a regular basis. His routine changes one day when he is paid a visit by a man in a trench-coat. The two start conversing, it seems the visitor (Endou) is a debt collector. The reason for the visit is an unpaid loan which Kaiji had previously co-signed for a work-mate (Takeshi Furuhata). The original loan was 300,000 yen ($3000 US$) and once Takeshi had disappeared, the loan then fell on Kaiji. Kaiji is then told of a way to clear the interest compounded debt (now at 3,850,000 yen), which involved getting on a boat with others in his position. Once on the boat the debtors would then have to gamble with loaned money, which would end with a few winning, and others getting into deeper debt and having to work to pay of their debts. After some coercing Kaiji accepts a position on the boat, in order to clear himself and make a bit of money for himself.

Kisaragi EN Subtitled *Kanako Sakai & Shun Oguri

Funny, crazy, hilarious movie! "Kisaragi" is a hilarious comedy about a 1-year anniversary memorial party for a D-list idol Kisaragi/Kanako Sakai, attended by five men (Shun Oguri, Yusuke Santamaria, Keisuke Koide, Muga Tsukaji, Teruyuki Kagawa) from an online chat room. The idol has been said to have committed suicide, but one of the attendee suspect someone in this group is the murderer. Fingers are pointed at each one another in the group. The entire movie is arguments between these five men in the room, with couple of imaginary reenactments scenes. It feels like watching a stage play. The movie has one twist followed by another, and the ending is pretty deep, though as an Otaku-dance was really stupid. The scriptwriter actually came up with a unique story as this. The setting for this movie is so crazy, and so are the characters, yet completely feasible in real life and their arguments are constructive. The characters' gradual develops into a really entertaining climax, and their love toward this D-list idol is beautiful. All five actors played their parts very well. This is an unique movie that really delivered.

This film explores the power of the human imagination, ambitions, and desires. The story was so well-organized and gives us a conclusion that makes perfect sense with the information given.

Mozu Season 2/Streaming

Mozu vows revenge and infiltrates Japan as a North Korean agent. The suspension of a murder case investigation is announced suddenly without a clear explanation.
