Natsumi Yukihira/Ryoko Shinohara receives secret documents of an organization that controls the country from the shadows. Because of this, Natsumi's ex-husband, Kazuo Sato/Teruyuki Kagawa pays a terrible price. Natsumi goes back to the Investigation #1 of Tokyo Metropolitan Police Department to take on the organization, but Natsumi becomes involved in a new case. She gets closer to the final enemy.

Distant Future *Kento Nagayama

Koji/Kento Nagayama, who has lived with a feeling of emptiness ever since his mother died 11 years ago, starts working as an apprentice at a special cleaning business. It is an indoor cleaning business which appears to be for solitary deaths, suicides and accidental deaths. While Koji dispassionately faces death in his daily life, he discovers a diary from among the personal belongings of a woman who died there. Her secret thoughts of her younger days were written in the diary. However, Koji finds out a surprising secret that young girl had shouldered as he goes on reading the diary. The last page of the diary says, “I want to die”. A shaken Koji heads to the girl’s hometown of Kanazawa to seek her future. But he learns the completely unexpected truth there...
