Nogi Yusuke is the chief of Marubishi Corporation's Energy Development Division 2 and visited the Balka Republic to recover the extra $90 million that had been transferred to GFL, a company with whom he has been working on an infrastructure project. The money however, has been transferred to over 10 subcontractors and Yusuke decides to go to Aman Constuction, but was betrayed by the cab driver. Yusuke has no choice but was left in the middle of a desert and has to find ways to resolve all his problems.

The story begin with a talented Japanese chef named Natsuki Obana/Takuya Kimurawho specializes inFrench cuisine. He's devoted his entire life perfecting his cooking style and skills. He also had his own restaurant in Paris, and earned two Michelin stars there. Hailed as a superstar chef in France, his confidence had turned into conceit.
No matter how hard Natsuki tries in his cuisine perfection, to obtain the rating of three Michelin stars it's beyond his reach. He feels pressured and up against a wall. At this moment, a serious incident occurs at his restaurant, and he ends up losing both the property and his entire restaurant team.
While he's feeling at the lowest point in his profession, he happens to meet Rinko Hayami/Kyoka Suzuki, female chef. Natsuki makes his decision to start over again as a chef in Japan. He's determined to create the world’s greatest three Michelin star restaurant, and tries to form the best team.
Natsuki is spurned by his former colleagues and his problems, even though he has found new talent. But he does not give up. He shove unreasonable demands at others and aims to higher himself in doing so. The attitudes of the people around him gradually begin to change as they watch him grow as an individual; slowly his former restaurant team starts to gather together again... a strong human drama.

Akatsuka Detective Agency stands inconspicuously at Shimo Akatsuka in Tokyo’s Itabashi ward. Its carefree, eccentric investigator Nanase Goro is eager to take on troublesome cases that everyone else is reluctant to. At times, he and his partner Kogure Kyusaku tackle sad cases and sometimes difficult ones that are beyond imagination. her wit’s end, Yuzuko is contacted out of the blue by a lawyer Kakihara

stranger. Kakihara is actually her former high school classmate. He may
not appear dependable from his small
build and good-natured appearance, but he is a hotshot lawyer whose
annual income is over 10 billion yen. He has liked Yuzuko since high
school days and mustered the courage to get in touch with her after
hearing about her situation. Although Kakihara advises that there is a
secret behind her company’s bankruptcy, Yuzuko is more concerned about
finding employment rather than the reason why her life has been thrown
into upheaval and turns him down. Kakihara’s investigation reveals the
possibility that the mysterious large 3 billion yen amount that partly
caused the bankruptcy was pooled together. By the time Yuzuko realises
it, she has become involved in exposing this secret.
The drama revolves around furniture repair shopkeeper Shiina Shusuke, who is looking for new owners of the seven cats, which his late wife had kept, with his childhood friend Fujimura Misaki. The cats will be wrapped in a blanket and left with new owners for a couple of days as a trial. This short yet precious time spending with cats will give owners something to hope for in life. -- NHK
Kazuya Takajo/Sho Sakurai/ARASHI was a promising soccer player. At the age of 23, he was selected for the national A football team and he bought a house to live with his fiancé Miki Nakagawa/Masami Nagasawa. Divorcée Hiroko/Rie Tomosaka struggles with work-life balance issues as she tries to raise her son Tomoya/Fuku Suzuki as a single-mother while holding a full-time job. Salvation arrives in the unlikely form of Edo-era samurai Yasubei/Ryo Nishikido mystically transported to the present day. In need of food and shelter, he discovers the culinary delights of puddings and desserts. A deal is hatched whereby he devotes himself to household chores in return for food and lodging, allowing Hiroko to forge ahead in her career. However, Yasubei's growing patisserie talents will bring tension to the deal. Hiroko divorces her husband because he was an unreformed male - and yet finds a suitable replacement in a samurai, the embodiment of patriarchal ideals. This could all make for some insightful comment on contemporary Japan and gender roles, but these strands remain undermined as the film follows predictable lines by having Yasubei enter a cake-baking contest, with the ill-prepared Tomoya by his side. Despite one cute scene with white chocolate transformed to snow, the interpersonal relationships, notions of displacement, role, and work-life balance are all under-realized in the end. Quite simply, the film builds up nicely.

Chonmage Purin gives few chuckles along the way; fun and laughter for the whole family to enjoy.
The Odakyu Romance Car, which debuted in 1957, is one such express train. It travels between Tokyo and Hakone, the mountain resort that has been drawing foreign visitors for generations with its hot springs and promise (though often unfulfilled) of spectacular Mount Fuji views from nearby Lake Ashi.
Hachiko Hojo/Yuko Oshima, the heroine of Yuki Tanada’s “Romansu”, is one such cart pusher, dressed in a spiffy uniform and spreading good cheer. She may be little more than an ambulatory convenience store clerk to passengers, but to a bumbling junior colleague (Yoshimi Nozaki), Hachiko is a no-nonsense veteran and a fount of job-survival wisdom.
Hachiko’s smooth daily routine hits a bump when a lanky, goofy-looking passenger pilfers a box of snacks from her cart. She tries to turn him in to station authorities, but he makes his escape and an angry Hachiko gives spirited chase. To shorten a rather incredible story (scripted by Tanada), pursuer and pursued finally call an exhausted truce and embark on a journey together to find Hachiko’s long-lost mom, who has written her a heartfelt letter suggesting that she might commit suicide.
Tanada, tests audience sympathy with this sudden shift of focus, especially given that the shoplifter, Sakuraba/Koji Okura, is that least empathetic of types: a failing movie producer.
Cue the direction of the film shifting toward either labored opposites-attract rom-com or formulaic comedy about two lost souls discovering their respective grooves. But “Round Trip Heart” instead finds a mostly happy middle ground between these two dire extremes. Yes, Hachiko tenderly recalls a long-ago family trip to Hakone, before her flighty, fun-loving mom/Megumi Nishimuta broke up with her dad. And Sakuraba, who at first noisily denies wrong-doing and proclaims himself a big wheel, reveals his more believable (and pathetic) human side in the course of their adventure.
But rather than milk this material for sighs and tears, the film is realistic, and stays dry-eyed about its two principals — including their chances for romance. The 26-year-old Hachiko, keeps calling 41-year-old Sakuraba by the lightly insulting term “ossan” (“old man”) despite his protests. Coming from an ultra-polite Romance Car attendant this is funny, as well as indicative of her determination to maintain an assured clear distance from her ickily amorous traveling companion.
Also, Tanada’s film entertainingly reflects a fundamental truth: Strangers may bond on the road, but their personalities — and problems — remain the same when they part.
Can she get back on track? The answer is well worth the ride to the final stop.
Shuntaro Akagi/Takao Osawa works as an elite businessman at a general trading company in central Tokyo. He's been chosen as the personnel department head while still in his mid-thirties, and expects to soon marry his sweetheart, Asuka/Rena Tanaka. Both his public and private lives seems picture perfect for continuing success... or so it seems. But quite by chance, this contented Shuntaro has to help out at Asuka's family business in the Tsukiji Fish Market, the well-known middle trader shop called "Uotatsu". However, the fish market is a place where competition is fiercely fought within the long-established conventions held by the expert traders. This total novice, Shuntaro, doesn't stand a chance against them. And of course he isn't a discerning judge of fish.

35-year-old Kentaro/Gen Hoshino is a social misfit and has never dated a woman in his life. He lives with his parents and holds a modest job in the city hall. Kentaro doesn't have any friends, nor received a promotion in 13 years. His parents worry about Kentaro being single for the rest of his life. They go to a parental matchmaking event, hoping to find a woman to introduce to their son. During the meeting, Kentaro's parents has only one other couple approach them. The father is Akita Imai and his wife. They exchange profiles of their children. Kentaro's parents are impressed with the Imai's beautiful daughter Naoko/Kaho. Meanwhile, Akita Imai is the president of a successful company, after reading Kentaro's bio, believes he is beneath their daughter. The Imais leave, only saying thank you. They also don't reveal to Kentaro's parents that Naoko is blind. Kentaro and Naoko will soon experience love for the first time, but will it be fleeting?
Uchida Yuki will be taking the leading role in a NHK drama for the first time when she appears in the upcoming "Haburashi / Onnatomodachi" which begins its run from 5 January at 11.15pm on Tuesdays. The psychological drama which consists of 8 episodes, features Uchida as a single scriptwriter who is around 40 years old. One day, her ex-classmate from her senior high school days played by Ikewaki Chizuru comes to her place uninvited with her son and asks for Uchida's character's help as she has lost her job, money and house. In the process, Uchida's character finds herself under enormous psychological stress and her own life in a mess due to the unwelcome intrusion.
Serizawa Hitomi/Karina works in the apartments development team of a prestigious real estate company, and is holding her own in a department that is predominantly male.
