Dreams for Sale ☆ Sadao Abe ☆ Takako Matsu ☆ EN Subtitled

Kanya/Abe Sadao and Satoko/Matsu Takako are happily married as the proud owners of a successful restaurant. However, a grease fire on the night of their restaurant's fifth anniversary destroys their almost-perfect lives. While Satoko puts on a tough face by working in a small ramen joint, Kanya falls into depression. One night, Kanya returns home with an envelope of cash, revealing to Satoko that he got it after sleeping with an old regular at their restaurant. Satoko decides to exploit her husband's newfound talent, training him to defraud well-off single women for money to open a new restaurant. The couple's plan is successful, but it also begins to take a toll on their marriage as Kanya begins to develop real feelings for his targets.

Konaka Dai (Abe Sadao) is a former model photographer, he doesn't do more than taking pictures of cats and old people for a living (funeral photos). He is married to the beautiful Ichinose Naoko/former fashion model (Sato Eriko) for eight years. Naoko suddenly discovers Dai's one-time infidelity with a model he once photographed and quickly decides for a divorce and leaves for her parents' home. However, since that house is already too crowded, she decides to move back to live in the same house with Dai. The drama depicts the awkward relationship between the couple, who is divorced but still living together, meanwhile Dai tries to put the marriage back up because Naoko become so stunning after divorcing him.

This is a very funny, comical, cynical Japanese drama about marriage and divorce that I feel you'll really enjoy!

The original story is based on Kokko Kashiwa (柏屋コッコ/Mangakka) a manga writer.
