Request for Support

Greetings all,

I wanted to "Thank" you all for your continued support of our website. I wanted to share with you my thoughts and appreciation. We have been working  very hard on updating the website for the past three months (July 2013 - present).

I had a discussion with a close personal friend about how our J-addicts website is coming along. Our sponsors have been putting a lot of pressure on me. They keep telling us that our count is still low. I have been informing them, we are working hard daily (10 to 15 hours a day, and no days off) to bring up the visitor count, and popularity by offering a larger variety of dramas, movies, and selected "short" English translated clips. They want the website "count" and Facebook "likes" to go up, or they are threatening to pullout their sponsorship.

My friend said to share my thoughts and feeling with you all, because that's what a "blog" is about and for expression of thoughts. So I have decided to ask you all for your support.

I have been a hotelier for over 15 years at three major branded hotels. I have worked 10 to 16 hours a day, and at times without days off. I have neglected "quality" time spent with my family; and my children are 13 years old. This website job "IS" my opportunity to be able to spend more quality time with my family once it's full running to 100 percent capacity/ability.

In July I decided to quit my hotel job to spend more "quality" time with my family. I asked for sponsorship and showed our "J-addicts" website plan and direction/goals with our sponsors. They agreed to provide financial assistance, given by a certain time they see results.

I'm only asking for your help and support. I haven't asked for any money or "membership" fee to view our website. I'm requesting that "any one" who returned to our site (more than 3 times) in the past, to just "like" us on Facebook and inform of our site to 5 friends; so I can show "numbers" to our sponsors. So they will continue to support us, or the true reality would be. We will not be able to continue "FREE" services or worst scenario would be forced to bring down the site.

I'm sorry I have to ask for your support in this manor, but this work really means a lot to me and my family. I hope our efforts provide valued entertainment to you? What keeps me going with passion for this site, is the traffic from all over the world!

    First I'd like to say thanks for all of your work putting together this site. If you really want the site to grow, you will need to post English subtitled content. The majority of people that watch Japanese dramas and movies need subtitles, without it they won't watch. It is pointless to post dramas without subs when we could go to other sites that post with subs. If you want people to share your site, post content everyone can watch and understand or whats the point of sharing it?

      I also agree with this, no one will return if there are no subtitles. I just come to watch the Begin Japanology etc because I can understand it.

      Thank you for your feedback. In respect, I try to post "rare" hard to find and "most" current movies and dramas. Not always do they have English subtitles. Secondly most of our current videos are "streaming" which eliminates "your/others" time to wait and download, then discover you/they don't like the video.

      Once again I thank you for your feedback, and will try to find more "subtitled" materials.

      Posting rare stuff and current stuff is fine, if you are looking for a specific viewing audience that want to watch that stuff (as well as understand it without subs). But what you are asking for is FB "likes" or you will lose your sponsors. Posting stuff like that without subs is pointless because most people can't understand what's going on so they wont watch it, let alone "like" the FB page. Why not wait for the dramas/movies to be translated, then post it (like every other popular streaming site). If you notice the traffic they get, you will see what I'm talking about, they have tens of thousands of "likes". You have to cater to the masses if you want people to like your page. I'm not trying to put down your site or your content, but you created this post so I am offering my opinion. If you keep posting your current content (no subs), your traffic will NOT increase, most likely it will decrease. If you start posting subtitled dramas and movies, your traffic will increase.

    Thanks for the feedback. I'm sorry I can't PLEASE everyone, but I would like to try and post the "most" current drama and movies available for those who want to watch "even though" there are no subtitles.

Streaming video on this site

DIRECTIONS (Follow steps below): Recommended web-browser Google Chrome (Works BEST)

~Video Instructions

1. To get started, click on the episode (colored) links you want to view/watch (i.e. Click to VIEW or Click to ENJOY.
2. You will be taken to Adf.ly or Shorte.st or Linkbucks or Streamin download page. Click on the top right link at the top corner of the page (Don't pay attention to the middle, or anything else on the page. They are advertisements that contribute to the upkeep of this site). "Pay attention to "ONLY" the top right of the page". Close any pop-ups.
3. You will need to wait for 5-10 seconds for the download link "SKIP" to appear to start your download or to stream/watch the video.
4. Putlocker Links: When you get to their page, make sure you "click" in the "middle area" [CONTINUE AS FREE USER] and wait a few seconds and it will play
5. Streamin Links: Click on the top right BLUE "X" slightly above the middle of the screen (DON'T click on anything or anywhere else), and click on the bottom left "PLAY" triangle button "in the PLAY-BAR" to stream (CLOSE any pop-ups that may come up). Don't "CLICK" on anything else or you'll be directed to advertisements by our paying sponsors).

TABLET Users: Most times the "FIRST" posted video (Video Wood hosted or "current videos with Openload.co) will stream without any problems. (You may sometime be requested to repeat the process to get the video). The "SECOND" posted (Streamin hosted or Dailymotion/currently) will be a downloadable file; your tablet will try to download the file (Great if you want to save or watch later). Sometime there is a "THIRD" it would be Dailymotion or Youtube video file; just click on the bottom "LEFT" triangle or "MIDDLE" triangle to view/stream.
