Motoko Haraguchi works as a temp at a bank. To pay off debt that she inherited from her parents, she also works as a hostess at a club in Ginza. Motoko Haraguchi is finally able to repay the debt.
At this time, there's chatter that the temp employees will be laid off at the bank. Motoko Haraguchi decides to carry out a scheme she has prepared secretly. She transfers money from accounts opened illegally to her bank account. Altogether, Motoko Haraguchi embezzles 180 million yen. Using her “Kurokawa no Techo” (Black Leather Notebook) which has a list of the illegally opened accounts, she fights against bank branch managers and opens a club in Ginza. Remake from the 2004 series which Ryoko Yonekura was the main cast.

Hiroto Miyama/Jun Matsumoto is a poor lawyer who takes on criminal cases, but unable to make money. He pursues the truth for the 0.1% out of Japan's 99.9% conviction rate. One day, Hiroto is scouted by Haruhiko Madarame/Ittoku Kishibe. Madarame is the head of Madarame Law Firm which is one of the biggest law firms among the 4 big law firms. Miyama begins to work with Atsuhiro Sada/Teruyuki Kagawa. Sada is a lawyer specializing in civil cases and makes lots of money for the law firm. He doesn't have any interest in criminal cases which can not make money.

Sure to Share is a 2009 Japanese film written & directed by Sion Sono. It screened at the 2009 New York Asian Film Festival. Shiro’s/Akira (Exile) struggle with his Father’s (Eiji Okuda) cancer and impending death leads to a realization that he must communicate his love and admiration for him before it’s too late. A series of flashbacks reveals their relationship of trouble Shiro faced connecting to his strict Father who was also his teacher and soccer coach. With a consuming secret of his own, Shiro, now in his late twenties and about to be engaged, must eventually learns how to share his deep inner feelings with his loved ones.

An Adolescent -Shoujyo *Eiji Okuda Unrated EN Sub

During a hot summer in a small town, Tomokawa, a jaded middle-age cop, cycles around on his beat, setting up petty deals and seducing housewives. A beautiful young girl wakes him up in a cafe: "Would you like to have sex?" She disappears from the hotel room later, but that was the beginning of their stormy affair. Both are searching for something in their wistful days. Yoko, the girl, falls deeply in love with him. Tomokawa in turn starts to lose his carefully cultivated cynicism, and starts obeying his impulses. They become drawn to each other physically and spiritually. Their relationship becomes complicated as they discovers their lives are more closely intertwined than they thought. Yoko is the sister of Tomokawa's mentally disabled friend, Sukemasa. Her grandfather is a traditional tattooist, the creator of the one-winged bird masterpiece on Tomokawa's back. And Yoko's mother is Tomokawa's ex-lover- the woman who abandoned him and left him fluttering alone, unable to fly. Yoko becomes more interested in the Chinese myth surrounding the tattoo, and unknowingly wishes to fulfill what her mother left undone. A tragedy triggered by Yoko and Tomokawa enrages her grandfather and destroys their passionate relationship. But while Tomokawa struggles with his guilt, Yoko plays her ultimate gamble...

Rare 1997 film. (One of my personal favorite Yakuza movies). Director Rokuro Mochizuki, presents a fiery story of love blossoming in the strangest of places. His trademark directorial style concentrates on the personal interplay of the lovers, Kinichi/Eiji Okuda, a yakuza enforcer and Yoko/Yuna Natsuo, a timid waitress. After a rocky start, a loving relationship develops between them, thanks partly to the mixing of drugs, and with a kidnapping! Kinichi vows to clean up his act but the drugs begin to take effect, sending Kinichi and Yoko on a downward spiral with only their love left to hold them together. Director Mochizuki Rokuro has taken the completely opposite approach of director Miike Takeshi (Ichi the Killer) who also updated the genre. Instead of cool and slick ultra-violence, Mochizuki has channeled Danny Boyle (Trainspotting) and Wes Anderson (Bottle Rocket), looking at the life of average people mixed up in violent circumstances, people who often make wrong choices and do stupid things, but still try to carve out some small slice of happiness in a harsh and unforgiving world.
