Shou's father Norio finds his son in a rather meaningless existence in Tokyo dominated by alcohol and porn videos. Having left home two years earlier to pursue life as a musician, Shou has left his band and his girlfriend has left him. His father asks a favor, that Shou clean out the apartment of his aunt Matsuko, who he says led a meaningless life until her murder at the age of 53. The apartment is filled with garbage bags and is even more unkempt than his apartment has become, and he becomes intrigued with his aunt as details of her life are supplied by a tattooed neighbor and others. Her feelings of neglect by her father Tsunehiro, who favored her chronically ill younger sister, Kumi, translated into becoming a dutiful junior high school teacher devoted to her students until being forced to resign after being blamed for the theft of some money by one of them. Leaving her family due to the disgrace, she had a series of affairs with lovers who physically abused her.

Chasuke's Journey ☆ Kenichi Matsuyama EN Subtitled

Things are hectic in heaven. Dozens of scribes sit before a long scroll incessantly scribbling away. They are composing the biographies of earth-dwellers. What is invented by the men in heaven is lived out below.

Their employer, God, is increasingly vehement in demanding avant-garde ideas. Take, for example, the beautiful Yuri, a girl who dies in a car crash. 

Some of the heavenly scribes find this very dull and send former gangster Chasuke, who has become a heavenly tea-boy, back down to earth with instructions to save Yuri no matter what. 

Chasuke ends up in Okinawa, gets to know the earth-dwellers, interferes in their fates, becomes celebrated as 'Mr Angel' and is hounded by brutal enemies. 

His falling in love with Yuri is of course a foregone conclusion. But no one could anticipate what happens next. Not even God himself.

Shinjuku Swan *Gou Ayano & Erika Sawajiri

Set in Kabukicho, which is an entertainment and red-light district in Shinjuku, Tokyo.

Tatsuhiko Shiratori/Gou Ayano doesn't have money or a job. One day, he meets a scout named Matora/Yusuke Iseya who recruits girls on the streets to work in fuzoku (the adult entertainment business). Matora likes Tatsuhiko and introduces Tatsuhiko to the world where he works. In a business where money means everything Tatsuhiko finds himself in a constant struggle between rival talent scouts and the yakuza.

Set along a backdrop of a fictitious second world war at an international city in Asia.

In Japan, Lieutenant Colonel Yuki/Yusuke Iseya recommends the creation of spy training school "D Kikan". Meanwhile, Kato/Kazuya Kamenashi is facing capital punishment for his refusal to follow a superior's order. Kato is then scouted by "D Kikan". He goes through a harsh training regiment and faces his first mission as a spy.
In order to seize American ambassador Graham's confidential documents "Black Note." Kato infiltrates into an international city. A battle to gain possession of the "Black Note" ensues between Kato, a mysterious woman named Rin/Kyoko Fukada, the British Spy Agency, the Soviet Spy Agency and the radical army in Japan.

13 Assassins - En Subtitled

13 Assassins has what many action pictures need, a villain who transcends evil and ascends to a realm of barbaric madness. Against this creature and his private army, a band of samurai is mustered to end his terror. Their heroism against impossible odds is a last hurrah for the Bushido/Samurai code; the film is set in 1844, toward the end of the medieval Edo period, when true samurai warriors were growing rare. The film is terrifically entertaining, an ambitious big-budget epic, directed with great visuals and sound by Takeshi Miike. The last 45 minutes are devoted to an inventive and ingenious battle scene, but it's not the sort of incomprehensible mayhem we often find in recent actioners. It's a lesson to the queasy-cam auteurs, because Miike choreographs the action to make it comprehensible — and, more important, has spent his first two acts establishing the characters. We know who the 13 samurai are, and we understand why many of them behave as they do under threat of death. The care taken with the screenplay and the shot composition deserves comparison with Kurosawa's (even better) "Seven Samurai."
