Set in the Edo period during a time when the divorce rate was actually 2x higher than the present day. A thrift ordinance has been announced by the government and the lives of common people get worse. During this time, many women who want a divorce run to the Tokei-ji which is a Buddhist temple in Kamakura, Japan. The Tokei-ji helps women who are abused from their husbands and get divorced if they so desire. Nobujiro Nakamura/Yo Oizumi is a doctor and wants to be a literary writer. He is staying at the Goyo yado in Tokei-ji. Nobujiro tries to help the women with various ideas to start a new life. He develops feelings for one. Jogo/Erika Toda runs to the Tokei-ji because she is sick and tired of her husband. Her husband doesn't take responsibility for his family and does whatever he wants. A concubine, Ogin/Hikari Mitsushima, for a wholesale dealer runs to the Tokei-ji. Who does Nobujiro love: Jogo, Ogin or a different woman? See and find out in this comical Samurai adventure.

The Wonderful World of Capt. Kuhio *Masato Sakai EN Sub

Wonderful World of Capt. Kuhio or Kuhio Taisa in Japanese is a story based on a real life event that happened in Japan. A man claiming to be a colonel and a pilot in US navy's 6th fleet defrauds several women pretending that he will marry them. He is supposedly related to the royal family of England and monarchy of Hawaii - thus his last name is Kuhio (as in prince Jonah Kuhio). It turns out that nothing he says he is true. He's actually a native Japanese, but goes around in a soldier's uniform when he meets his women. How women fall for such an obvious lie seems to be the point of this movie, and somewhat comical aspect of the story. There are three women he goes out in this movie, but only two of them are really falling for him. The other girl who works at a bar is an even match for him. Very strange story even for a movie, but is based on the actual event that happened around the time of '92 Gulf War. Masato Sakai plays the intriguing character of Capt. Kuhio. Interesting movie that's hard to classify as a comedy or a horror drama. Scary part is the way Kuhio works his women. His lies are so smooth, and no one thinks (except one) that anyone would go to this extent to con a person. We all like to believe in the goodness and honesty of others, but this movie gives a revealing look at a person who lives on the other side of the society.

Rabbit Horror EN Subtitled Horror

A young woman searches for her younger brother who was dragged away into an alternate world by a rabbit ... 10-year-old Daigo/Takeru Shibuya kills a sick rabbit on the school playground which he adored. The other kids call him "rabbit killer." Since then the boy has stayed at home and has been tutored by his sister Kiriko; then her Mother died of an incomprehensible disease. Since that time Kiriko has not spoken. Their Father/Teruyuki Kagawa is distant & also silent, working away on his storybook illustrations. One day, Daigo and Kiriko go to watch a 3D movie. A rabbit suddenly pops out of the screen and Daigo attempts to grab it. That night, Daigo is lured into a strange world through the stairs in their home by a rabbit doll ...
