Ichito Kuriharai/Sho Sakurai is a doctor in Nagano Prefecture who experiences a conflict when he‘s reunited with an old doctor friend named Tatsuya Shindo/Tatsuya Fujiwara and discovers he‘s not quite as dedicated to his profession as he was in medical school. Meanwhile, Ichito‘s mentor Dr. Nukita/Akira Emoto suddenly falls ill.
