Lady Ninja Kasumi Vol. 2: Love & Betrayal is a Japanese original video directed by Hiroyuki Kawasaki and based on a manga series by Jin Hirano. It was released by TMC in Japan on March 23, 2006. The story takes place two years after the events of Kasumi’s first adventure in which she got on the bad side of Hattori Hanzo. Hanzo finds a female ninja of his own to seduce a gatekeeper and infiltrate Ueda castle. Kasumi/Emiru Momose tries to foil the plan but is taken prisoner and humiliated by Hanzo. However, a prostitute and lover of the gatekeeper eventually comes to Kasumi’s aid, forming a bond of friendship.
