Set at the end of the Sengoku period to early Edo period, "Sanada Ten Braves" follows 10 members of a ninja group who all serve under samurai warrior Yukimura Sanada.

  1. Based on the stage play "Sanada Juyushi" by Nozomi Makino. The stage play was performed for the 60th anniversary of Nippon TV in 2015. The story of the stage play is based on the novel “Sanada Sandaiki” published in mid Edo period. The original novel contains a mixture of non-fictional characters and fictional characters.
  2. Actors Kankuro Nakamura & Tori Matsuzaka, director Yukihiko Tsutsumi and screenwriter Nozomi Makino all took part in the original stage play.
